Hi, I'm Laura Walker, the creator of Gaia's Guild: Ecological & Edible Landscaping. I have been a Permaculture Designer and Organic Master Gardener for 13 years and I am a local member of the Sunshine Coast Seed Saving Collective.

My interest in Permaculture is the interweaving of personal & planetary healing. In this spirit, I integrate Ecotherapy, Energy Healing & Somatic Counseling, as each involves deep listening, presence and cultivating a more trusting & meaningful connection to and expression of life.

I am a settler on the Unceded Traditional Lands of the shíshálh Nation and the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw and aiming to live in right relationship with the ancient cultures & ecology here. Gaia's Guild focusses on native plant designs to restore biodiversity locally. I am also on a journey of remembering my Celtic roots & culture, through language, story, myth, music and the sovereignty of the land. I am enjoying learning songs in Celtic languages & composing in Proto Celtic, and bringing these songs into ceremony, journeys, song circles and ceilidhs.
